This Isn’t Real

I painted it. I then messed it up but luckily before I took it one brush stroke too far I had taken a photo.

So I made a digital print. Then I mocked up this image using the digital print to see what it would look like and I thought it was pretty damn good.

It struck me this isn’t real. So I doodled that on the print which you can’t see in the first print because guess what - this isn’t real. You still with me?

I love the colours. I love that you can see some of the grid work of the canvas. I love the fact I messed this up. I love the fact that even amongst the mistakes there is art to be found.
