Delphiniums Original

This painting (Acrylic on Canvas board) was never supposed to be Delphiniums. It started off as Tuscan trees or at least that was what was in my head. Then this happened.

Sometimes you just have to listen to the brushes and let them do the work for you.

Delphiniums. Originates from the Ancient Greek word ‘Delphis’ meaning Dolphin. If you know me at all you will know I adore Dolphins (my name for Endorphins) so no wonder I have hung on to this painting for far longer than I usually do. It makes me happy. It’s the Dolphins!
