High Five Friday
Every Friday when I can bothered, I mean remember, I will be giving you a High Five. So please, I beg of you, do not leave me hanging.
Firstly ickle High Five to everyone who made it through the blizzard. We did it guys. I think at one point we nearly made it to 2mm of snow in Hertford so massive shout out to all those who stocked up on food and dusted off the sledges but it was shit, our snow was shit. Standard.
A general whoooohooooo thank crunchie its Friday (jeeeez I could eat a million crunchies right now. Firstly (use your Marks and Spencers advert sexy voice for this bit) I would slowly and expertly nibble away the chocolate and then suck tenderly on the honeycomb. This lack of sugar thing is making me horny for chocolate?! WTF! In all reality this would not be remotely sexual as I would simply face plant into said chocolate)
Must. Stop. Thinking. About. Chocolate.
The High Five Friday posts will be short and sweet and you will not have to read my usual ramblings. Promise. Ok, shortish.
Whilst the snow is actually falling with an evil bastard cold wind howling at the windows I am thinking of sandy white beaches lined with palm trees and obviously if I avoid said Crunchie bars I am also visualising myself slowly leaving the water Bond-girl styleee. Perhaps without a knife in my bikini as that might scare the kids. Sorry, promised I would not crap on so here goes.
High Five INPO Peeps. We got to Friday! The first ever High Five Friday is Palm leaves.
Palm of the hand. High Five.
Seamless shizzle I got going down here!
(Bloody lovely name that – Liberty – some genius peeps name their kids with such gloriousness)
I would like to say this bottle takes me to a glorious yoga retreat in Peru. Alas the name Waikiki reminds me of when I was 16 and on Veronicas Strip in Tenerife at the Waikiki Beach Fun Club Bar, Playa de Las Americas of which I shudder to think I ever went there!!! So I will ignore the name of this bottle and just be in awe of its beauty and not think of the first time I ever drank and probably the main reason I did not really drink again until I was 35 and had my first boy. That is a whole other story for another day.
Leaf Patterned Duvet Set at HM.com – £34.99
Currently designing our boudoir and quite taken with this bedding. Have the monochrome spotted duvet for the kids from hm.com and have been really impressed with the quality for the price. Will show you pics when I have cleaned their rooms!!
Everything at Southwood Stores is ridiculously tempting and and this Palm range by the ridiculously talented SOOuK is perfect for todays High Five Friday. There is a mug, tea towel and the most incredible prints. Gutted I did not buy one of these mugs yesterday when I went to the hugely inspirational Southwood Social Hub meet up. Always next time although everything is wrapped so beautifully I often order online because I am not one to wait. Wait until you see my ESCAPE bag!!
This place lovefrankie.com has the bestest lampshades ever. Full Stop. I cannot wait for a room (one room, any room will bloody do) to be finished at INPO House so that I can order one or two of these beauties. The fact that it is styled with another love of my life in this product shot – the cactus vase – just goes to show this lampshade has my name all over it!
A little leafy treat for the iPhone with this gorgeous cover.
That’s it. High Five Friday. It took me that long to write it has stopped snowing. For once there was nothing in there for the kids which is bloody lovely as sometime we should treat ourselves. Although my girls would totally nick the water bottle and the phone cover so who am I kidding!
Have a great weekend peeps.
