Call of the Wild
Honestly. You can tell me. I can take the truth.
Come on give it to me straight!!? Am I following a trend or have I entered a “stage”. I honestly cannot get enough of Leopard Print. Is it a 40 something thing? A leopard print crisis. #LPC
Am I having a Mid-Leopard-Print-Crisis?
With my cheeky hint of leopard print – be it boots, bag, scarf or coat – am I suggesting that I am a little bit wild? Saucy even? My love for LP is building at the moment and I am like an animal hunting it down. I know I am not alone because when I wear any LP people start purring at me. We have pride in our LP.
Recent purrrrrchases (hilarious I know) include the fantabulous chelsea boots from @joulesclothing to which I literally want to bend over backwards so I can look at them constantly. The comfiest of trainers from www.marksandspencers.com and a bargain coat in the sale from New Look all of which you can see on my Wild Thing Pinterest Board.
On my LP Bucket List (it is a thing in my world) I currently am dribbling over:
Pyjamas from Lily & Lionel – in fact ANYTHING from them. Honestly save yourself, do not visit the site because it will hurt your heart.
The tote bag from SWYC with my initials on (VN in case you are asking!)
The sweatshirt from Scamp and Dude – oh my days. This brand just hits the spot. I can match the kids. They will be soooooo excited. Can you imagine my 15 year old daughter. I feel like I should get the whole famalam matching jumpers just so I can see her face!!
Anything leopard print from Tiba & Marl although I did just spot a touch of camo print on their Insta feed. Do not get me started on Camo and Khaki Green – will go into that next week! Now Tiba & Marl are basically the on trend baby bag of the moment and I do not care that my four children are no where near babies. They do weekender bags and quite frankly the bottle section is perfect to keep my Gin to hand.
Not forgetting myself over at my Etsy shop. My Wild at Heart foil print – Etsy Neave Designs. I designed this last year and perhaps this was the start of the Leopard Loving.
I have learnt that one, maybe two at a push, pieces of LP is enough. Any more and I am bordering on Bet Lynch. Perhaps I am over thinking this because at the end of the day it is giving me a little bit of a lift and I am not even down. I just love anything that just makes your heart sing a little and when I wear LP my heart is belting out Aretha Franklin. Or perhaps it is more In the Jungle, the Mighty Jungle…… Altogether now….A-weema-weh A-weema-weh A-weema-weh. Ahh-oooooooooooooooooooo
Let me know your thoughts though.
